UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

Well this is mostly a formal post since I think everyone? most of you? know that Ella has stepped down as palhoncho and that I am taking her place. Replacing me as vice-palhoncho is robotwwizard because she's awesome, and I'm sure we're both looking forward to friendleading the team together!
That said, there are going to be a few changes around here! Mostly because I am a nut and not because anything really needs to be changed too terribly. I'm just hoping these changes make the whole HSO experience more streamlined and easy for everyone!
I also have a whole lot of announcements for you guys and this entry has the potential to get really long really fast so I'm going to be breaking this down into sections behind cuts for your reading convenience and also so that I don't take up too much room on the main page!
PLEASE read everything! And also feel free to comment or email or skype me or Mandee with any questions/comments/concerns.

CHANGES
Well, as you have probably already noticed, I changed the the community's theme! It feels better manageable to me but seriously don't hesitate to complain about it if you don't like it! You guys need to be able to navigate and stare at it too so please do let me know!
~~Another change that I want to implement is a tagging system! The community has over 20 posts and there's no sorting system at all and I've had to do lots of unnecessary scrolling to find posts that I wanted to look at! We can definitely eliminate this annoyance with a tagging system. Here are my suggested tags!
It won't clean up the community any because posts will still appear listed as they have been, as a list, but now if you're looking for any post for whatever reason, you won't need to look too hard.
~~Lastly, and this one isn't exactly a change so much as it is a suggestion! I've noticed that some people don't seem to see these dreamwidth posts as quickly as others, which is fine, but can make seeing time-sensitive information a little difficult. I know a lot of you are new to dreamwidth so maybe you don't know that you can actually get email alerts when people post new entries to the community! If you didn't know about that and think that it's an amazing and useful thing, just follow these quick steps!
You can actually track individual posts too! There should be a little bell on the bottom of posts that you can click to track them, or, as in the case with our new community theme, the words "Track This" will take the place of the bell.
Tracking is definitely useful for me because I get email alerts on my phone, and I hope it helps you guys out too! You can track anyone's posts with the method I just detailed, so feel free to keep a friendly eye on people. ;P
Also, for anyone who hasn't already been using this and who doesn't plan to, I will be making this post a sticky! That means it will stay at the top of the community's posts forever and always, so if you plan to continue to check in manually to see if there have been new posts, please make sure to check the ones behind this and any other posts I eventually create as stickies!

I've noticed that I often go looking for links to official HSO things. They do have a tag system but jeez do they post a lot! It's been a little annoying for me to keep going back there and scrolling until I find what I want, so I'm compiling all the pages I feel are useful and linking them for everyone here! ROUND THREE
The prompt is up! And boy is it pretty confusing. Tonight, when we meet for the collab round (between 8pm and 12am EST for those that have forgotten!) I definitely propose a small group chat about this as well.
Round 3 ends in just a few short weeks so good time management in this last month is absolutely key! We will be working on two rounds at once and it might even be worth it for a few people to sit this round out, if ideas aren't coming easy. But we can talk about that as a team! I'm sure we can get it all done. c:

#Round 1, for everything round 1! Any submissions you entered, the prompt page that was posted, etc. Don't worry about going back and editing/adding tags to past entries, I can take care of that!
#Round 2, same as above! This round had a lot more posts and I'd love to tag them so we have them all in a handy spot, if ever you wanted to backread some old entries!
#Round 3, the tag you should use when posting any round three entries!
#Collab, I think you know the drill!

2) Look over to the right, there should be a few links, the first being "Leave" with an x next to it. Go down to "Track".
3) Click that and make sure that "Someone posts a new entry" has its second box clicked!
